About Me

My graduate research at Leiden University sits where formal logic, neural networks and control meet: training neural controllers directly against first-order-logic specifications and checking them against an independent verifier. My MSc thesis builds exactly this bridge. Alongside it, I've also explored quantum computing and image processing.

Before returning to research, twenty years across city-scale information systems, hospital IT integration and corporate finance — including a complete hospital M&A loop, closed as the acquired hospital's Vice President. The systems-and-control instinct the research now formalises was earned in the field.

Signal First-Order Logic Neural Control

MSc Thesis · Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science (LIACS)

Trains neural predictive controllers directly against Signal First-Order Logic (SFO) specifications. It generalises STL-based neural control to full first-order logic with value quantification — the choose-and-commit behaviour that Signal Temporal Logic cannot express — while keeping the training objective independently verifiable.

Ran a complete acquisition cycle on one deal: pre-deal due diligence and financial modelling → closed the Ansteel Hospital transaction → was promoted to Vice President of the same hospital to own the post-deal phase, integrating HIS, EMR, PACS and group financial systems across a 1,400-bed tertiary hospital. One person, the full loop — the rare proof of the bridge.
